[Media Source*] (Hat Tip: Black Kettle, and Blogs for Terri)
The presiding judge in the case of Terri Schiavo ruled Friday that the feeding tube keeping the brain-damaged woman alive must be removed despite efforts by congressional Republicans to block the move by seeking her appearance at hearings.
"I have had no cogent reason why the (congressional) committee should intervene," Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer told attorneys in a conference call, adding that last-minute action by Congress does not invalidate years of court rulings.
Now we have a legal tug-of-war. Terri (along with her "caring Husband") is being subpoenaed to appear before congress on March 25th and 28th? How in the world is she going to appear before them if she is dead? Urging all to CALL YOUR SENATOR now!
Update: Is it me, or does it seem that Fox News is not getting the memo that Terri is not in PVS?! Come on Fox, even MSNBC is portraying the story correctly (not to mention CBS)
