If Our Judicial And Legislative Branches Fail...
[Media Source*] ....should we perhaps try contacting our Executive Branch when it comes to justice and truth?
President Bush already favors on the side of "life" and since it seems that his brother Jeb has run out of options (at least that seems that way to me) perhaps a call to the White House may get some attention (phone: 202-456-1111, fax: 202-456-2461)
"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." [Sir Winston Churchill]
President Bush:
The case of Terri Schiavo raises complex issues. Yet in instances like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial doubts, our society, our laws, and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life. Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life, where all Americans are valued, welcomed, and protected - and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities.
Keep calling guys (and gals)...and pray!
"It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required." [Sir Winston Churchill]
