"Because in Cyberspace, no one can hear you scream."

"Unfortunately, to a disproportionate degree, an enormous amount of the United Nation's time and resources are being monopolized by the campaign to demonize and delegitimize Israel and the Jewish people," Neuer said. "The 'Zionism is racism' spirit, unfortunately, is alive and well at the UN."
It seems sad that the United Nations, an organization who should uphold the world standards to all nations, ignores some of the worst atrocities in history while going after the traditional scapegoat of all ages--Jews.
"The world's foremost human rights body finds itself almost unable to condemn the world's foremost human rights crime," Neuer told the audience of about 50 people in the Beth El sanctuary.
While ignoring atrocities committed in China, Syria, Iran and Sudan (in which over 300,000 Africans have been slaughtered thus far) the United Nations is quickly losing whatever moral authority it was given when it was first established. If the United Nations seeks to remain viable in the new millennium, they first must begin applying the standards to all nations around them equally (including those sitting on the human rights commission). Only then will they earn back the respect that they have lost do to the many scandals that have afflicted this organization.
