Graphic Anti-Abortion Billboard
[Media Source*]
(WFTV.com-ORLANDO, Fla.) "I went to the grocery store and came back and it was sitting there. It took my breath away. I was like, ugh. I walked in the house and started ranting," said Lusk...
The billboard shows large pictures of a fetus, torn into pieces and covered in blood. The targets of the message are women headed to the EPOC abortion clinic just blocks away on Virginia Drive.
The sign was designed and created by the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform with a headline reading "Killing a baby is a bad choice." Despite calls from parents and residents to take the sign down, the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform stands by their sign, saying, "the billboard is disturbing, because abortion is disturbing."
Despite the outrage, the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform is not just stopping with this one bill board.
And soon, more Central Floridians will be affected by the images. The organization that created the billboard has an even bigger version that will be pulled behind a banner plane regularly flown over Orlando.
There may be a possibility that the government will reject the "plane idea" as it is in public viewing to all. When a pro-lifer tried a similar method using a "truth truck" in Bel Aire, Kansas they were fined approximately $1,000. Although Florida may have more lenient laws regarding public display of abortion images, the fact that these pictures "offend" people should be an strong indicator on whether such practices should continue within the United States or not.

I am one step closer to putting it on a tshirt- ( abortion pic). Kudos for CBR for showing the truth behind the "Glamour of Abortion". We need more of these billboards!
