Mexico Might Sue U.S. Soldier
[Media Source*] (Hat Tip: Immigration Blog)
MEXICO CITY - The Mexican government is considering filing a lawsuit against a U.S. Army reservist who detained seven Mexican illegal immigrants at gunpoint in Arizona, a Mexican official said yesterday. Prosecutors in Arizona declined to charge the man.
The Mexican government is discussing the lawsuit with a human rights group based in Los Angeles, said Geronimo Gutierrez, the Mexican deputy foreign secretary for North America.
Arizona prosecutors are refusing to prosecute Haab based on a state law allowing citizens to arrest someone making a felony with includes illegal immigrant trafficking. Haab's detainment has brought national light to the issue, including County Attorney Andrew Thomas who plans on bringing this issue into the political realm.

Hopefully so. Although many illegal immigrants flee their homeland to the U.S. for a better life, their are many hostile people that also travel for "the same reasons." If our nation does not desire to reign in the borders than perhaps we should just simply open them for the world to "come in." Borders without order are causing more harm than good and if not protected, these holes will attract terrorists, who are only looking for an entrance to cause terror inside the U.S.
