No Red Ink In School?
[Media Source*] It looks like some parents do not like teachers grading papers in red ink.
Red writing, they said, was "stressful." The principal said teachers were just giving constructive advice and the color of ink used to convey that message should not matter. But some parents could not let it go.
So the school put red on the blacklist. Blue and other colors are in.
Amazing what organized Parental PC police can do? The school has switched to purple (and other colors) but only time will tell when that color will be banned as well (perhaps in the next 50 years?). Maybe we should use some glitter sticks and grade every exam with a glittering "A" or "F." Of all things this should probably go on Bill Oreilly's "the most ridiculous item of the day" award.
