Bush tapping Clinton and Father...
[Media Source*] (Source-Fox News) It looks like President Bush is tapping his father (Bush 41) and Bill Clinton to spearhead a major fund-raising effort in the U.S. to help the victims of the tsunami disaster. President Bush will use his Predecessors to contact businesses and individuals to contribute towards non governmental organizations.

Jan. 3: President Bush is flanked by former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton during an announcement of U.S. aid efforts in Asia.
Fox News reports as President Bush went on to say:
"We're showing the compassion of our nation in our swift response, but the greatest source of America's generosity is not our government, it's the good heart of the American people," Bush said, listing a litany of private organizations including the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, America Cares, Catholic Charities and Save the Children that have received contributions and responded immediately
"To draw even greater amounts of private donations, I have asked two of America's most distinguished private citizens to head a nationwide charitable fund-raising effort. Both men, both presidents, know the great decency of our people. They bring tremendous leadership experience to this role and they bring good hearts. I am grateful to the former presidents, Clinton and Bush, for taking on this important responsibility and for serving our country once again," Bush said.
Americans are already giving on their own and many experts expect that private donations will surpass those of the government. Both Clinton and Bush the Elder will travel all over the United States doing media interviews in order to help raise awareness on the issue. Bush himself is leading the way by not only visiting embassies of nations struck by the tsunami's but making a personal contribution himself. Selah!
