Bush's Intelligence reform...
[Media Source*] On Friday President Bush signed into existence the largest overhaul of the U.S.'s intelligence in 50 years by creating a new director of national intelligence which will oversee all 15 agencies and help coordinate information between each of these organizations.

President Bush signs the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 during a ceremony in Washington, December 17, 2004. Standing with Bush are (from left) Senate majority leader Bill Frist, Lee Hamilton, vice chairman of the 9/11 Commission, Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CT), Thomas Kean, chairman of the 9/11 Commission, Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA), and Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI).
"Under this new law, our vast intelligence enterprise will become more unified, coordinated and effective," Bush said at a ceremony that included members of Congress and Sept. 11 victims' families. "It will enable us to better do our duty, which is to protect the American people."
This new law is a great way from keeping information from slipping through the cracks which was a major result of the failure to prevent the September 11th disaster. The new law will help foster a spirit of "teamwork" instead of rivalry between our intelligence departments. This will not only work for the benefit of our nation, but to the detriment of our enemies. Selah!
