Friends and Fam...
I think I enjoy having friends. Especially those that sharpen you, force you to grow and encourage you to be close to Lord Daysman. No other type of friend will do.
I have noticed with anxiety that the culture around me is changing...aggressively. This election is going to be important...very important. It will perhaps shape our destiny. If all goes unexpected, if what I imagine does happen, then life will become a "rescue operation" instead of a "cultural redemption." But...I rather not get on this topic for it makes me sad and uneasy.
So this is going to be a random topic. Today,or rather yesterday I was thinking about marriage. It might seem strange for me to think about this now, but all my friends are getting married (another one this Saturday). That makes...let me count them...one, two, three...six weddings that are happening this year between friends that I know of! And of those three have already happened.
It's funny, how I use to talk to Daysman about not getting married. "Girls are a hassle" I use to say. Maybe it was the vanity that went with it all. Most were Air heads that I encountered, and few were living an appropiate life. But my friends who faced a similiar dilema were able to find women who met the Proverbs 31 standard...and all I can say to that is Selah.
Well, I don't have to think about it...at least not this year. I will concentrate on other things...for now. Selah!

*sigh* Marriage. Once, it seemed so close on the horizon - until all fell to the ground and shatterd. Suppose God had different plans than I did...I find that happens quite often, doesn't it?
