Space Tourism in Florida
[Media Source*] Governor Bush must be proud!
A private space tourism firm with plans to launch civilians on suborbital joyrides has pinned down its launch pad with a little help from the U.S. Air Force (USAF).
The firm, Temecula, New Mexicos AERA Corp., has signed an agreement with the USAF to use launch complexes at Floridas Cape Canaveral Air Force Base for future passenger space shots.
The best part is that they have a six-passenger shuttle that may begin launches as early as the fall of 2006. Hopefully they will be able to include more seats as that would drive down the costs of this expensive industry.

Looks like this industry is getting pretty popular very quick! With British billionaire Richard Branson pledging to offer trips to the stars at $200,000 a flight, it looks like this might be affordable to me in the next five years...LOL.
