"Senator, welcome. It's good to see you. I like to see Sen. Kerry, except when we're fixing to debate," Bush said on Wednesday at a White House ceremony for the Red Sox, the Massachusetts senator's hometown team.
Kinda cute, heh? The purpose of this meeting/ceremony was to honor the late baseball hero Jackie Robinson and the World Series Champs from Kerry's state the Red Sox. It's good to see them "buddies" again. I wonder if Daily Kos would post something like this on his site?
But guess who else was on stage!
Also on stage was Rev. Jesse Jackson, one of Bush's harshest critics who in January urged Congress not to certify the election results giving Bush a second term.
I doubt he shook his hand (I wouldn't have) although I can not verify that as certain. Well, one more post and I'll be hitting the books (studying for my exam). Selah!
