[Media Source*] President Bush is going to give his State of the Union Address which should involve a healthy synopsis of the Social Security and counter arguments against the Debt-o-crats. I look forward to this debate...and to the demise of the debt-o-crats last standing issue.

President Bush prepares for the State of the Union in the Family Theater of the White House.
From the NY Times:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush will challenge a divided Congress on Wednesday to take political risks ``to strengthen and save Social Security,'' saying the government's costliest social program is headed for bankruptcy unless changed. Bush's plan envisions that benefits promised to workers 55 and older would remain unchanged.
Bush, in his State of the Union address, will pledge to work with Congress ``to find the most effective combination'' of revisions, although he has ruled out some remedies such as raising Social Security taxes.
The speech is happening in less than an hour. It is at 9pm EST and 6pm PAC. Stay tuned...Selah!
