Iraqi Troops Outnumber U.S.
[Media Source*] Finally the MSM is reporting some great news from Iraq!
FORT HOOD, Texas (Reuters) - President Bush said on Tuesday trained Iraqi security forces now outnumber U.S. troops in Iraq and are playing a greater role in fighting insurgents...
"Like free people everywhere, Iraqis want to be defended and led by their own countrymen," Bush said. "We will help them achieve this objective so Iraqis can secure their own nation and then our troops will come home with the honor they have earned."
President Bush has offered no time table for the withdrawal of our troops from the region (although we may need them for an offense against Iran) but the fact that Iraqi's outnumber U.S. forces in the region (150,000 to 140,000) is quickly proving to the world that Bush may be right after all (or at least deserves some credit for what is happening in the region).
