"First of all, we in California this year are introducing legislation that would ban all the sale of junk food in the schools," Schwarzenegger said.
All I can say is good luck! (the kids will rebel)
Don't worry...the measure isn't as extreme as it looks.
"I wouldn't say we're going to ban all" junk food, Schwarzenegger Chief of Staff Pat Clarey said. "We just are looking at additional bills that will deal with snack food at high schools ... we're looking for healthy snacks."
So the war against junk food begins in California. My question is whether the kids will simply choose whatever junk food remains in the machines or select the healthier snacks? Hopefully they will pick some tasty treats such as some of those delicious Gold fish snacks or maybe some Skittles...err...Pringles...hmm...this may be harder to do than I thought. Selah!
