A new cold war?
[Media Source*] It appears that Putin is getting more "involved" with Ukraine's election. Despite large criticism from Europe and the U.S., Putin has not only endorsed the "victor" (although that is highly disputed) but is also is arguing against a proposed "re-run" of the run off that Ukraine had a while ago.

President Vladimir V. Putin, right, meeting with departing President Leonid Kuchma of Ukraine at a government airport outside Moscow. It is obvious to many in Europe over the cold war differences as one can see by the candidates they support. Putin is asking that foreigners stay out of Ukraine's election process, all the meanwhile Russia puts both hands in for all the world to see. If Russia intends to maintain ties to their Ukrainian neighbor, they must do so in a way that respects the true will of the people. It is obvious to many that the citizens of Ukraine desire freedom, and that freedom will not be silenced by fraud. They are in essence fighting for their own future, one with a better hope for themselves and for their children.
